Featuring a 12” (300mm) LF drivers and a 1” (25mm) exit compression driver on an 80° x 50° rotatable horn, it is ideal for small to mid-size indoor venues requiring class-leading sound from a compact enclosure. The LF driver has a 2.5” (65mm) voice coil and powerful magnet system for the tightest bass response, while the HF compression driver utilises a 1.75” (44mm) polyimide diaphragm for extended high-frequency response without distortion.
An onboard Class D amplifier module delivers 1000W LF + 300W HF peak output to the drivers and sophisticated DSP functions are controlled by a rotary interface and multi- function, easy-to-use colour screen on the rear panel. DSP features include crossover function, a three-channel mixer with three-band EQ on each input channel and selection of three voicing presets and operating modes for flexible usage without external processing. The LF and HF drivers are independently protected by RMS and peak limiters for longevity and consistency of performance.
The XP12 is road-ready. Constructed from durable plywood, it is fitted with a cloth-backed steel grille to protect the drivers from damage and dust ingress, while not impeding airflow at low frequencies. The enclosure has M8 inserts for eyebolt suspension and a pole-mount socket with a removable cap that maintains clean lines for install applications. It is finished in black textured hard-wearing paint as standard.
Martin Audio XP12
The loudspeaker shall be a self-powered two-way system. Its transducers shall consist of a reflex-loaded 12” low frequency driver and a 1” exit high frequency compression driver mounted on a high frequency horn. The horn shall be user-rotatable to enable vertical, horizontal and stage monitor operation.
Horizontal dispersion shall be 80° and vertical dispersion shall be 50°. The on-axis frequency response shall be 62Hz-20kHz +/- 3dB and the loudspeaker shall produce a maximum SPL of 128dB peak at 1 metre.
The loudspeaker shall incorporate a two-channel Class D amplifier which shall deliver a total of 1300W peak output to the transducers. Onboard DSP shall perform crossover and limiter functions and incorporate a three-channel mixer. Mixer settings, operating mode and voicing presets shall be effected by a rotary encoder and display screen on the rear panel. Bluetooth control and streaming shall be available as on option. The power supply shall employ Power Factor Correction and operate from 100-240V, 50-60Hz AC.
Audio input connectors shall be female XLR type combined with a ¼” jack. The mix output shall be available on a male XLR type connector. The AC power connector shall be a 3-pin IEC connector.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be constructed from multi-laminate plywood with a black textured coating and be fitted with a pole-mount socket, pocket handles and M8 threaded inserts for mounting accessories. The drivers shall be protected by a perforated steel grille with a cloth backing.
Dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 358mm x 574mm x 318mm (14.1in x 22.6in x 12.5in). Weight shall be 18kg (40lbs).
The loudspeaker shall be the Martin Audio XP12.
